Letty, as she wants her friends and colleagues to call her, has
three children: J. George, J. Harry and Joel -- the apples of her
eyes. She earned her degree at the University of Sto. Tomas and
moved to the United States in pursuit of her career. She is
currently with the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New
Jersey.

going gets tough.", expressed by a true leader who is never a
quitter. Equipped with the capabilities of leadership, powered by
proper education and comprehensive training, geared by
extensive training and hands-on participation, as well as on the
job training, our doctor-awardee excelled in every activities she
puts herself into.

She has been most active with the Middlesex County Medical Society, occupied positions as Past President,
Board of Trustees, Constitution & By-laws Committee, Nominating Committee, Budget and Finance
Committee, Membership Committee, Board of Trustees, MCMS Foundation, Secretary, MCMS Foundation,
and a member of the Board of Trustees of New Jersey Academy of Medicine.
In the hospital where she is currently affiliated, she is the Secretary, Treasurer of the Medical/Dental Staff, Vice
Chairperson, Medical Records Committee, Representative to the AMA, Hospital Medical Staff Section, Past
Vice Chairperson QA Committee. In addition, she has membership with the following organizations:
American College of International Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, American society of
Geriatrics, NJ Society of Internal Medicine, Central Jersey IPA, Medical Consultant to the Board of Education
and the Board of Health of Edison, New Jersey and the City Hall of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
In the community, she is member, Board of Directors, Highland Park International Lions Club and member,
Board of Trustees, Christian and Jewish Council . Indeed, this woman made a remar-kable contribution in
her own profession and in the community as well. Her various achievements were rewarded by awards:
