Jacob "Jack"  Velasco Aranda, M.D., Ph.D., F.R.C.P.(C) is not only
the pride of Filipino-Canadians, but of all Filipinos around the
world. Practically on  daily basis,  Jack, as he wants his friends to
call him, lectures  before  international  prominent audiences

informing the medical spheres. As a renowned authority on the subjects, his colleagues rely heavily on his
knowledge of changes.  Because of his  frequent  global  travel   it  is no  wonder  that to get in touch  with Jack
Aranda  is like trying to get hold of   the  President of the World Bank  or  the Secretary General of the United
Nations.

He is truly a role model and inspiration to the Filipino-Canadia  communities  across the vast  continent of
Canada as well to other  Filipinos in the Philippines  and  other countries.

His awards and citations are numerous and very impressive. Very proud of his heritage as a Filipino,
