Jacob "Jack" Velasco Aranda, M.D., Ph.D., F.R.C.P.(C) is not only
the pride of Filipino-Canadians, but of all Filipinos around the

call him, lectures before international prominent audiences
composed of his fellow educators, scholars, physicians,
resear-chers, and from all walks of life who are interested in his
expertism. He is a full-pledged Professor of Pediatrics,

North America, and wherever his expertisms are in demand. With

the medical technology moving in the fast track, Jack, who's main concern is to be knowledgeable of the
latest trends and changes in the field of pediatrics, pharmacology and therapeutics, has the tasks of
informing the medical spheres. As a renowned authority on the subjects, his colleagues rely heavily on his
knowledge of changes. Because of his frequent global travel it is no wonder that to get in touch with Jack

Nations.
He is truly a role model and inspiration to the Filipino-Canadia communities across the vast continent of
Canada as well to other Filipinos in the Philippines and other countries.
His awards and citations are numerous and very impressive. Very proud of his heritage as a Filipino,

is also one of the handful researchers in the world to receive the most coveted and prestigious "Pediatric

Jack's outstanding achievements are all documented by the Canadian Government as well as the various
international organizations that deal with research and developments in medicine. He is cited in "Who Is

among achievers: "Who Is Who in the World," and the "American Men and Women of Science."
Fe A. Cardona, MD, MPH, FAAP of Columbia, South Carolina aptly sums up a simple description of Jack
Aranda: "Human progress has often depended on the courage of a man who dared to be different. You are
