Rodolfo  M.  Molina
Beaver Dam,  Wisconsin
Distinguished Nuclear Physician and Community  Leader
Chairman of Wisconsin Medical Examining Board
In the State  of Wisconsin, a Filipino stood tall  among the very
elite and high   achievers group of physicians.  Dr.  Rodolfo
Molina,  born in  Subic, Zambales, Philippines in April 17, 1930, is
the Chairman of the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board tasked
to license, certify and regulate physicians, physician assistants,
podiatrists and physical therapist.  In short,  without  the approval
of  Rudy,  as he wants his friends to call him,  and the Board,  no
one can practice any form of medicine in the State of Wisconsin.
First appointed in 1989 to a four-year term in the 10-member
Medical Board and reappointed to  two more terms,  Rudy
achieved what Filipino physicians, not only in Wisconsin but
across the nation, have been aspiring to reach.  "Dr. Molina was
not only victorious in  reaching   the ladder of success,  but  had
managed as  well  to stay on top,"  commented one of the more
than  350  Filipino practicing physicians in the state of Wisconsin.
Dr. Rudy Molina is a  prominent pathologist and nuclear physician.  He is the President and  Chairman of the
Board of the Consultant Physicians  in  Pathology, S.C.,  a laboratory  and nuclear medicine facility serving
multiple hospitals and clinics  in  southeastern  Wisconsin.  He  is  a  Chief of Staff of the Divine Savior
Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin (1997-99) as well as  a  pathologist in eleven nearby towns:  Waupun, Ripon,
Watertown, Hartford, Portage, Reedsburg,  Boscobel, Hillsboro and Cuba City.

Dr. Molina   is a  recipient  of  four distinguished awards:  Fellow of American Society of Clinical Pathologists
(1969), Fellow of  College of American Pathologists (1969),  Distinguished Fellow of American College of
Nuclear Medicine (1987),  and, Fellow of Federation State Medical Board, United States (1989). These
awards are the highest  accolades  that could possibly be bestowed to a physician  by  his   fellow  physicians
in  a particular  or specialized  medical   field.  They  are bestowed only  to  physicians  who  have
distinguished  themselves and won  the highest  esteem from  his  or  her  peers. Receiving  such honors  is
another accomplishment  Filipinos are  immensely proud  of  Dr.  Rudy Molina.

"It  is  a  privilege to have someone like Dr. Molina  on the Board willing to spare his time and  serve the State
of Wisconsin," commented Governor Tommy  Thompson who  appointed  Rudy     to the position which was
unanimously confirmed by   the Wisconsin   State Senate. The Governor  who is  selective in attending private
functions made an exception by going to Molina's residence to celebrate Rudy's appointment.   The Governor
related the  time when he inquired  from Filipino physicians  whom  to  appoint  in  the  Board.  Rudy was
unanimously  named.  "They   all  look  up  to  Dr.  Molina  and  respect him.  He  is  an outstanding physician,"
added  Governor  Thompson.

Rudy received his pre-medical  education and earned his Medical Degree from the prestigious University of
Santo Tomas in Manila in 1959.  In less than a year after his graduation,  he passed with flying colors the
tough  examinations,  ECFMG,  required   for  foreign  medical graduates to come to the United States  for
further education in the medical  field.   He completed his Internship (1961-62),  and his Residency in
Pathology (1962-66)  at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He  later moved to Veterans
Administration Hospital in Wood, Wisconsin in 1966 until June, 1967. In 1968,  he completed  his
post-graduate studies in Medical Qualifications Course at Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies.

He  was Instructor in Pathology at Marquette  University  School of Medicine in Milwaukee;  co-Director of the
School of Technology  at Beaver Dam Community Hospital; and Co-Director in  the School of Certified
Laboratory Assistants at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Not wavering on his accomplishments in the medical field, Dr. Rudy Molina  and  his charming  wife, the
former Blesilda Rusca Molina,  spearhead many community humanitarian and worthwhile projects  for  the
community.  He  is   past chairman of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal-General MacArthur Foundation (RMMF),  a  tax
exempt non-profit corporation formed by the Filipino-American Medical Association (FAMA). The RMMF through
its various chapters supports educational institutions in medicine and public health by providing medical
services, supplies, assistance and training.  "Rudy and Blessie have regularly sent  substantial  donations to
the RMM  Foundation and can always be relied on for any assistance," remarked one of the Foundation's
officials.

The Molinas reside in Beaver Dam,  a residential suburb in Wisconsin.  They have five children: Bernadita
(1961), Rodolfo, Jr. (1963),  Brenda (1965), Beverly (1967), and Robert (1970).
