MARICEL QUIROZ
President, Business Development Corporation
Maricel Lichauco-Quiroz is the President of Business
Development and has been with KeyRose Corporation for 8
years. Her family established one of the first Filipino restaurants
in Chicago, Illinois and Milton, Florida. They also managed a
group home that aided the mentally and physically ill. These
early familial influences encouraged Maricel to begin her
ventures in improving the quality of life for Filipino-Americans.
Maricel continues her ambition of assisting Filipinos in achieving
their dream of a higher standard of living. She personally
utilizes ingenious debt reduction strategies and real estate
investments as wealth building tools to gain her massive
success, while teaching fellow Kapamilya to do the same.Her
approach shows there are only two roads to wealth, one is
making more money which in this economy seems
almost an impossibility and the less travelled road is to
adapt our vision and lifestyles to reduce utang to a
level below your income threshold. Thus you are able
to save more money without having to work harder.  
She aspires to share this approach with her fellow
Filipinos in hopes that they too can gain the financial
wellness that she enjoys today.

In 2009, she and her husband, Jojo Quiroz, are
committing their years of financial wellness to aide
fellow Filipinos come out on top during these tough
economic times, especially when it comes to rampant
foreclosures and bankruptcy. KeyRose Corp’s mission is
to analyze, assist, educate, and guide its clients
towards the best options when handling their financial
burdens. Whether they have high credit card debt or
huge interest rates from upside down loans, the
ultimate goal is to help clients reclaim the feeling of
being debt free and regain a sense of control over their
finances.

Key tools like Debt Restructuring and the company’s
very own MAPit system help clients beat the interest

The Quiroz's and their hand-picked staff have begun their operation by traveling up and down
California in an effort to reach areas of mass Filipino population before it is too late. Even the
holidays have not been enough to slow this organization down. The dire sense of urgency
kababayans share both on Pera Ko Pera Mo and through thousands of emails showed Maricel
that sometimes you have to sacrifice your personal time for the ultimate greater good.

Maricel’s current achievements include:  
• Founded and maintains the Filipino division within KeyRose Corp.
• Launched the Company-wide sponsorships of several large venues promoting the Filam
community.
• Worked with The Filipino Channel for the production of a Viewer conscious program focusing on
the problems experienced by our community.
• Produced the Chicago land area infomercial “Pangarap Ng Pinoy”, as well as the movement.
• Established the first business offices in several Filipino supermarkets “Uni-Mart”.  
• Organized purchases of new homes for recently arrived Filipino’s with no credit history or
financial reserves.
