TONY DELEON  PIZARRO
CWO (Ret) SUPPLY CORPS,
UNITED STATES NAVY
Tony Deleon Pizarro was born in Orion, Bataan, Republic of the
Philippines and was educated at Jose Rizal Institute and later
attended the Far Eastern University. He later enlisted in the
United States Navy at the US Naval Station, Sangley Point,
Cavite City,  Cavite, Philippines.

He is an accomplished thirty year US Navy veteran. Tony
exemplifies true grit, pride and success. Started as seaman
recruit he quickly rise consistently and was advanced to the top
enlisted the rank, and advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer in
fifteen years, the highest enlisted rank in the US Navy.  
Careerists rarely attain this rank and if they do, it usually takes
well over 20 years of service.  His accomplishments were many
and varied; exposing him to food service and supply
management, logistics technical and leadership skills he quickly
attained. These accomplishments resulted in his selection for
commissioning in the Navy Warrant Officers’ Program as US Navy Supply Officer.  After 30 years
of successful service, he retired with the highest CWO rank as Chief Warrant Officer Four in
1989. During that tenure of his active duty service he has received many accolades of naval
commendation and navy achievement medals.

Upon his retirement from the U.S. Navy Mr. Pizarro embarked in the building of a family-owned 28
unit condominium complex with all the amenities and facilities expected of a luxury living
complex.  With limited experience in construction, he took over the job as the general contractor
and project manager, undertaking a multi-million dollar construction that he completed ahead of
time, and well within budget.  From financing to working with architects and engineers for
design, coordinating various contractors in the different phases of construction, coordinating all
the city, engineering, fire safety, health and other inspections; he did it all attaining success in
every step.  The complex is now popularly known as Villa Paraiso which fast became the center
of community activities in the heart of National City, California, the clubhouse hosting to the
community needs in the area.  This experience was the first step in a long series of business
successes.

In 1992, Mr. Pizarro decided to embark in the business of Government Contracting and founded
Gerwend Enterprises Inc, doing business as Integrity Management Enterprises.  From a small
janitorial contract serving the Border Offices of the Immigration and Naturalization Services, IME
attained unprecedented growth, peaking with the US Navy Intra-Service Supply Support
Program (ISSOP) employing over 1,600 personnel.  Tony’s company is now currently in several
locations nationwide, including the U S Naval Station, Great lakes, IL managing over 50 facilities;
Bremerton, WA maintaining inactive ships in reserve for the US Navy and multiple construction
sites in California and Hawaii doing construction works for the Department of Veteran Affairs. He
shepherded this company constantly attaining success in all its projects.  Mr. Pizarro and his
company were endorsed by Congressman Bob Filner CA 50th District for selection for Lifetime
Achievement Award given by the Asian American Business Roundtable, on November 2006 in
Washington DC.

APPOINTMENTS AND CIVIC AWARDS

Mr. Pizarro was very much involved in Civic organizations in the United States and in the
Philippines. He had founded the Bataan Association of Southern California in 1974 and served as
it President.  Its mission is to preserve, strengthen and enhance the cultural, customs and
traditions of our mother country the “Philippines.”

In 1991 he has helped in the creation of Orion Community Association of California (OCAC) by
providing them guidance and financial support towards completing High School through
Scholarships in the Philippines and in San Diego, California, USA.
In 2005 he joined Tony Meloto, an awarded of the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation, and the
Founder of the Gawad Kalinga Foundation (GK) and Answering the Cry of the Poor (ANCOP) in
nation building. Its mission is to resolve Filipino people end poverty in the Philippines by building
shelters for the poorest of the poor to become into productive citizens through hope and provide
them sustainable jobs, guidance and uplift the dignity of the Filipinos in the Philippines.  In May
of 2008  The Santos – Pizarro family with the help of his friends, relative and business associates
has built and donated 50 homes for the homeless in his home town Orion, Bataan, Philippines.

Tony as a member of the Cosmopolitan Lions Club has joined them on a Philippine Medical
mission three times.  Serving the needy indigents of the Philippines and they have seen over
three thousands patients at each Medical Missions in the remote provinces of the Philippines.  
The club provides free medical check up and diagnoses. Additionally, the Club  also provides free
medical and dental treatments and free medicines to all the patients to make them well.

•        Supported the Filipino American Development Initiatives (FADI)  Advocating to promote and
secure that Philippine Tagalog language be thought as a choice at every freshman students at
University of California State college level.

Tony’s wife, Dr. Priscilla Santos Pizarro, is a
graduate of the University Of Santo Tomas
School Of Medicine in the Philippines.  She is
actively engaged in the community and
provides direct support to Medical Missions in
the Philippines.  He has two children; Gerard
Pizarro, a graduate of Thomas Jefferson
College of Law; and Wendy Pizarro Campbell, a
graduate of Yale University, Oxford University
for her Master’s Degree and Harvard University
School of Law. Both are accomplished lawyers.  
However, inspired by the business successes
of Tony, they are successful business partners
in their own rights.  The Pizarro children
founded VIPMobile, a technology company that
provides research and development of high
technology communications specializing in
special warfare support for the U.S.
Department of Defense.

In between his hectic schedule, Tony enjoys
playing golf, swimming and always looking after
his two grandsons, children of Wendy, John
Pizarro Campbell and Tyler Pizarro Campbell.
