Edizon R. Dayao, keyboard artist and vocalist, has been involved with music at the early age of five. His
parents realized that they had a gifted son at that young age as it took Edizon only minutes to duplicate the
big band musical recordings his father enjoyed listening to during those days.
By the age of eight, Edizon was enrolled by his parents in the Yamaha School of Music. By the age of twelve,
he was employed by Yamaha Corporation, Philippines, to attract potential customers through his advanced
knowledge and skills of keyboard orchestration techniques.
Although armed with a degree from Yamaha School of Music, he still pursued a business degree from
DeVry Institute of Technology upon his arrival in Chicago in 1987. But his musical career and popularity in
his solo orchestrated performances advanced so quickly that he had to hire a manager to handle the
business aspects of his career.
The sole owner of his entertainment business associated with entertaining seniors from hospitals to
nursing homes, he finds himself in such a big demand in so many institutions— playing and entertaining to
as much as 700 private and public performances annually. He has performed at many popular venues
throughout Chicago and suburbs, as far as Indiana, Wisconsin and Hawaii, including the Philippine Plaza
Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, and DZRJ Radio, Philippines. He has also appeared as a guest and occasionally
performed for the Chicago Philippine Reports TV during the Holidays and for other special occasions. He
also rendered entertainment for the VIA Times Golf Tournament a couple of years ago for the golfers during
the post-golf game.
Edizon opens his heart with enormous compassion for the aged, sick and elderly through his lovely musical
renditions. He makes weekly appearances at various Chicago nursing, rehab, health care facilities, and
hospitals, giving unique and special concerts, touching lives, refreshing spirits, rekindling lost memories,
and bringing joy to the hearts of so many elderly.

Dayao, Senior VP of Solid Bank Philippines, Edizon has two sisters, Zoneddy and Dayriz, who are both
medical doctors.
