Donations for the Victims of the Storm “Durian” and the Mudslide Catastrophe
The typhoon “Durian” and the resulting mudslide devastated the province of Bicol in the Philippines on
1 December 2006 which claimed at the latest count almost 1,000 victims and has wrought havoc to
property. Furthermore, 800,000 people in the region have lost their homes and are exposed to
epidemic.
The victims will be grateful for donations that would contribute to relief and rehabilitation efforts being
undertaken by the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC). Please direct your donations to the
following Donation Account of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines:
