PROFESSIONAL GROUP; AMBASSADOR GAA EMPHASIZES RESILIENCE OF RP

Ambassador Willy C. Gaa welcomed around 35 members of the Washington Intergovernmental Professional
Group (WIPG) at a reception hosted by the Philippine Embassy (L-R Ambassador Gaa, Chairman Nelson
Garcia, and Advisory Committee Member Mahender Dudani). WIPG is a non-partisan, professional
organization dedicated to working closely with the diplomatic community in fostering deeper cooperation and
understanding in the fields of foreign, political, economic and cultural relations.
During the reception program, an Overview of the Philippine Economy, Trade and Investment was presented.
Ambassador Gaa conveyed that “we remain bullish about the Philippine economy and optimistic about our
future.” Several WIPG members expressed interest to pursue investments and partnership possibilities in the
Philippines. END
