Psalm 35
This is a prayer to God for help against those who try to inflict injury for no reason. When our enemies are unjust and lie about us, even when we do good to them, we can appeal to God who is always just. Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid. May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. Reflections: Cruelty may be far removed from some people's experience, but it is a daily reality to others. God promises to help the persecuted and to bring judgment on unrepentant sinners. I have this experience in my life. With the American College of International Physicians our secretary got mad because his wife would like him to be the president right away. Kailangan in leadership mag bigayan. Don't be too ambitious to climb the top of the ladder as you wish; take your time. When your turns come, you will be the best. God primes you to lead the right way.
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for your own intentions, and for the healing intentions of my prayers.
Have a nice day, Deacon Gary
