Psalm 40 -- from the Prayer Desk of Rev. Deacon Gary

Today is Sunday 10th of January 2010.
Psalm 40 God's will sometimes means waiting patiently. While we wait, we can love God, serve others, and tell others about him. Like telling who St. Padre Pio is.
Here I am, I have come... it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly.
Reflections: I desire to do your will, O my God. Jesus came as the prophets foretold, proclaiming the Good News of God's righteousness and forgiveness of sins.
Faithful people keep their promises, whether promises of support or promises made in our marriage vows God's faithfulness is like human faithfulness, only perfect. His love is absolute, and his promises are irrevocable.
I know of a friend, who always promise to come to our meeting, but never did it hapen. They have a lot of reasons: sickness, headaches, they forget, etc. etc. This is an example of unfaithful promises. (Ang pangako ay hindi natutupad, yet naghihinakit bakit hindi binigay ang position ng pagka presidente.) Leadership does not work like that. Show your concern and leadership potential first before your ambition.
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intention and the healing intentions of my prayers.
