Psalm 45 -- from the Prayer Desk of Rev. Deacon Gary

Today is Monday 11th of January 2010.

Psalm 45
All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes
and cassia;
from palaces adorned with ivory
The music of strings makes you glad.

Daughters of kings are among  your honored
women; at your right hand is the royal
bride in gold of Ophir.

Reflections:
Myrrh is a fragrant gum of an Arabian tree, generally used in perfumes.  Aloes, a spice, may have come from
sandalwood, a close-grained and fragrant wood often used for storage boxes or chests. Just extend your
imaginations this is the wedding of the king.

Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intentions and healing intentions of my prayers.

Have a nice day,
Deacon Gary
