We will be leaving the house for our close retreat for "Deacons and wives." So I will be posting this already for tomorrow's reflections.
Today is Saturday 20th February 2010.
Theology of Married Couples. In this retreat, we will be reflecting on the acts within the married couple's life.
In marriage, the intimate union of the spouses takes place as noble and honorable, the truly human performance of these acts fosters the self-giving that signify and enriches the spouses in joy and gratitude. Sex in marriage is a source of joy and pleasure.
To be expanded next week.
Antiphon As morning breaks we sing of your mercy, Lord, and night will find us proclaiming your fidelity.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, Good Afternoon ! As we progress in our retreat be assured that you are in our hearts and mind in prayers.
Psalm 92 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your truth in the watches of the night on the ten-stringed lyre and the lute, with the murmuring sound of the harp.
Psalm-prayer Take our shame away from us, Lord and make us rejoice in your saving works. May all who have been chosen by your Son always abound in works of faith, hope and love in your service. Amen.
Every morning we will recall your resurrection, and we will long for the benefits of your redemption. Grant that we bear witness to you everday during our retreat and offer an acceptable gift to the Father through you. Amen.
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intentions and the healing intentions of this prayers.
Have a nice weekends. Deacon Gary
