problemang kinakaharap,“opposing for the sake of opposing.”

“These senators are ignorant of what is actually happening in Mindanao. They are now opposing for the sake
of opposing,” ang tinutukoy  ni  Rodriguez sina Sen.  Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III at Sen. Joker Arroyo.

Pero sagot ni Rodrigues, “There are now daily brownouts in all parts of Mindanao .”

“Emergency power for water and electricity is not martial law. I don’t know why there is fear for it. We have
seen that in the Maguindanao martial law and state of emergency,” sabi ni Dimaporo.

“She is not the enemy. Our enemy is our inability to respect each other and work together for our nation.
Opposition makes white black and bloats even minute problem,” dagdag paniya.

“I support the move to grant President Arroyo emergency powers to solve the energy crisis and the energy
need for the election automation,” pagsusuporta ni House Deputy Speaker for Mindanao Simeon
Datumanong.

“Nuclear energy should seriously be considered
especially on local government units which want to host it.”

"We don't need an energy secretary that doubles as a spokesperson for big oil and power monopolies. We
need a new secretary who upholds the people's interests," ani Ocampo.

pinakinakailangang hakbangin.

"EPIRA institutionalized the onerous IPP contracts of the Ramos administration and delivered the energy
sector on a silver platter to private monopolies. EPIRA enables the government to wash its hands of the
responsibility of providing the public with affordable and efficient electricity service. Government should not
abdicate its strategic role in ensuring cheap and abundant power. Napocor should be cleansed of corrupt
officials and made the country's leading power producer. In this way we can achieve scale, ensure
transparency and accountability in the energy sector," sabi ni Ocampo.
