Today is Monday 1st March 2010.
Amos
The main force or attack of the Prophet
Amos, is the message that fell against the
ten-tribes kingdom of Israel.
However if you narrow them down they realized that
his prophesy pointed especially against themselves.
The denunciation of Israel occurs mainly in Chapter
3-4 and Chapter 7:9-17
Amos visions consisted of judgment with Locusts,
Fire and a Plumb Line.
Reflections:
A plumb line is a devise to ensure the straightness of a wall. A wall that is not straight will eventually
collapse. God wants people to be right with him; he wants the sin that makes us crooked removed
immediately. God's word is the plumb line that helps us, is... awareness of our sin.
God made all people; therefore to ignore the poor is to ignore those whom god loves and whom Christ
came to save. We must act compassionately to stop injustice and to help care for those in need.

When will I come to the end of my
pilgrimage and enter the presence of God?
My brothers and sisters, Good Morning !
To prepare ourselves, for today's journey, lets call to mind our sins and ask God for forgiveness for he is full
of gentleness and compassion.
Lord have mercy..................Lord have mercy.
Christ have mercy...................Christ have mercy.
Lord have mercy..................Lord have mercy.
May the Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive our sins, and lead us to life everlasting, Amen.

My soul is thirsting for God,
the God of my life;
when can I enter and
see the face of God?
Psalm prayer
Inspire us to yearn for you always, like the deer for running streams, until you satisfy every longing in heaven.
Amen
Almighty Father, remember all our relatives and friends who have died, esp Jose Salvador.
May they all find your presence the light, happiness and joy, Amen
Lord Jesus, may you touch with healing compassion all our relatives and friends who are
suffering from know ailments esp. Sister Helen Ojario, Rodolfo Clemente, and Jose Ramos. Relieve their
fears, pains and anxieties, Amen
Holy Spirit giver of life, power and wisdom, be our guide and guard us from harm. Amen.
OL Barangay, pray for us and all who call on thee. Amen.
Reflections:
Luke 6:36-38
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful., Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to
you."
A forgiving spirit demonstrates that a person has received God's forgiveness. If you are critical rather than
compassionate, we will also receive criticism. If we treat others generously, graciously and
compassionately, however, these qualities will come back to us in full measures. We are to love others, not
judge them.
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intentions and the healing intentions of this
prayers.
