Sharing our Spirituality: Wholeness V
Letter of Paul to the Ephesians 4:28-32 The thief must no longer steal, but rather labor, doing honest work with his hands, so that he may have something to share with one in need. No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption. All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.
Reflections: As we evolve our personal relationship with God and sharing our "faith in silence" with other race, religion or ethnicity, that non-verbal manifestations of our relationship (faith in silence), truly enhance better our human spiritual wholeness. Our own thinking or thoughts is not to convert anybody to our faith, but we share with them our spiritual thoughts of loving God and our neighbors in practice.
When we say. "When you are in Rome, do as the Roman do." For me I would say, enjoy Rome but still do what you think is good for you. Not all Romans have the same level of spirituality that they impressed upon us. Only the Vatican does. What you can do, is show the manifestation of your spirituality like saying your prayers before meals, in silence is "merit filled acts" that is always noticeable by others around you.
Making ourselves visible role model of our society, and following St. Paul letter to the Ephesians is true sharing of our spirituality. At this point I would conclude that "spiritual wholeness" is the goodness within you that you share with others. egv2010 Antiphon Put your hope in the Lord. Take courage and be strong. Psalm 27
My brothers and sisters, in Christ, Good Morning ! To prepare ourselves for this Lenten season, lets call to mind our sins and ask God for forgiveness for he is full of gentleness and compassion.
Lord have mercy............. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy................. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy............. Lord have mercy.
May the Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive our sins, and lead us to life everlasting, Amen.
Psalm 43 O send forth your light and your truth; let these be my guide. Let them bring me to your holy mountain to the place where you dwell.
Psalm prayer Almighty Father, source of everlasting light, send forth your truth into our hearts and pour over us the brightness of your light. Amen.
Almighty Father, remember all our relatives and friends who have died with the sign of faith especially Fr. Ed Sepacio, Bring them all to your abode, with your angels and saints in heaven and may you show your presence light, happiness and peace. Amen.
Lord Jesus, may your divine mercy and compassion touch Sister Rosario Villanueva, O.P. and Sister Helen Ojario, O.Carm. the needed healing wholeness from you. Relieve them their fears, pains, and anxieties. Amen.
Holy Spirit, giver of life, power and wisdom, be our guide and guard us from harm, Amen OL Barangay, pray for us and all those who call on thee, Amen.
Reflections: John 8:21-30 "You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world. The one who sent me is true, and what I heard from him I tell the world." The kingdom of Jesus is with his father in heaven. We must not focus so much attention on world's values but we must seek his kingdom in heaven, the eternal life with God. Jesus, the Father's Ambassador on earth.
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intentions and the healing intentions of this prayers.
Have a nice day. Deacon Gary
