Washington D.C.: The Migrant Heritage Commission (MHC), as Chair of the Filipino Immigrant Complete Count Committee (FICCC) of the U.S. Census spearheads a full swing campaign for all Filipinos, regardless of status, to fill up the questionnaire and mail back the forms to the U.S. Census.
At the reception of the 4th Sunday Mass at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the MHC US Census FICCC Team distributed materials, giveaways and promoted the importance of being counted in the U.S. Census 2010. MHC had also continuously promoted the U.S. Census 2010 in its network and other previous community events.
Succeeding promotional campaign activities are being geared from April 1 until July 2010 to ensure that all our “kababayans” and other immigrants participate in this once every 10 years exercise.
An information dissemination campaign will also be conducted on April 10, 2010 (Saturday) in the Silver Spring area of Maryland from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Should you wish to join us on this dissemination campaign, please email migrantheritage@gmail.com or call MHC Executive Directors Grace Valera-Jaramillo, Jesse A. Gatchalian, Arnedo S. Valera Esq. 202-247-0117, 202-631-8856 or 703-273-1196, or other MHC Exec Officers Antonio Calaro 240-460-3609 or Carl Abella 301-908-6788.
