Today is Friday 2nd July 2010.
Evolving for a Change II When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the close door that we do not see the one which open for us. Alexander Graham Bell
Dealing with Change: While it is important to recognize the emotions associated with change, no matter what we say or do, we're not likely to be able to stop it. So, rather than walk away from, fight, or complain about the change, we might want to take a different approach: asking questions and listening to the answers with an open mind.
Why is the change necessary? When will it happen? How will it be implemented? What good things are expected from it? What new opportunities might it bring?
The answers to these questions might, in turn, bring about a shift in our perspective.
What if I believed this change was good? How would a positive attitude affect my behavior? What can I do that's positive? Please reply. *********************************** Antiphon Behold, I long for your precepts; in your justice give me life. My brothers and sisters in Christ, Good Morning ! To prepare ourselves for today's journey, lets call to mind our sins, and ask God for forgiveness, for he is full of gentleness and compassion.
Lord have mercy.............. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy................. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy.............. Lord have mercy.
May the Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive our sins, and lead us to life everlasting, Amen.
Psalm 100 Go within his gates, giving thanks, Enter his courts with songs of praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.
Indeed, how good is the Lord, eternal his merciful love. He is faithful from age to age.
Psalm prayer With joy and gladness we cry out to you, Lord, and ask you: open our hearts to sing your praises and announce your goodness and truth, Amen.
Almighty Father, remember all those who have died, with the sign of faith in Christ. Show them your presence, light, happiness and peace, Amen.
Lord Jesus, have compassion on all those suffering from known ailments. Heal them back to their physical and spiritual wholeness especially "Sister Rosario V;" Rodolfo C" and all those who ask me to pray for them. Lord Jesus relieve their fears, pains and anxieties Amen.
Holy Spirit giver of life, power and wisdom, be our guide and guard us from harm especially those in the seafarers, Amen
OL Barangay, pray for us and all those who call on thee. Amen
Reflections: Matthew 9:9-13 "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick. Go and learn what this means. I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners.'"
Today, if Jesus is actually in our midst, what does his response means to us. For me he say share my words with the poor, immoral, lonely and outcast, not just to the rich, moral, popular and powerful. This is where my ministry fits in "Pastoral Care". Do you have another reflections, please reply (share).
Say one "Our Father and Hail Mary" for our own intentions and the healing intentions of this prayers,
Have a nice week ends and Holiday (4th of July). Deacon Gary
