The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC conducted successfully its first mobile ePassport services in
Virginia Beach at the office space provided by Roy Estaris and  Naomi Fitzwilliam of The Travel Outlet Inc. from
9:30 am to 6:00 pm on July 2, 2010.

The consular team composed of Consul General Domingo Nolasco, Sofronio Cortel, Janeth Falsis, Lyra
Ocampo, and Abraham Agustin, also processed on-site 94 applications for electronic passports, notarization
of documents, registration of births and marriages, and 35 petitions for dual citizenship.

On July 3, 2010, the consular team participated in the 2010 Fil-Am Friendship Day Festival in Virginia, Beach.
During the festival the team promoted the benefits of the electronic passport and urged the Filipino attendees
