Photo was taken during the formal dinner last June 24, 2007 on board the luxurious Crown Princess of the
Princess Cruise Lines visiting several tourist ports in the Eastern Caribbean. The Crown Princess under the
command of Captain Alistair has passenger capacity of 3,150 with a crew capacity of 1,200 with more than
50% as Filipino crews. A handful Filipinos from various U.S. & Canadian area were on board from June 17 to

Dr. “Mike” Edilberto Miguel, 62, a physician for the past 26 years, was trained in New York City in 1973. He
practiced in Warsaw, New York , then migrated to South of Texas where his family is now residing. Dr.
Mike met and married the pretty nurse Lita in New York City after working together at Makati Medical Center,
Philippine, for more than two years never romantically got involved. They met again in New York where Lita was
an RN. They have two daughters with the oldest now a physician. Dr. Mike is currently a Hospitalist and a
distinguished Fellow in Nephrology ( Kidney Diseases ). Lita is both the Nurse and the Business Manager at
Mike’s own medical office in Dumas. He is one of the eight doctors in Dumas belonging to what Mike calls as
“Little UN” - with a Filipino (Mike), an African, two Indians, one Turkish. There are only four Filipinos in
Dumas, Texas and one of about 10 Filipino families in the Texas Panhandle. #
